ABOUT

Dominika Kamanova is a Copenhagen-based designer working from her studio in Vesterbro. Her practice spans ceramics and jewelry, focusing on sculptural works that exist between object, body, and space.

Across both media, each piece is developed through a slow, hands-on process, where form and surface are shaped intuitively through making. The work balances material presence and expression, allowing objects to be experienced, worn, or encountered over time rather than defined by function.

Kamanova’s practice is informed by human emotions and behavior, and by the subtle relationships between people, objects, and their surroundings. A sense of quiet presence and durability runs through the work, offering a slower rhythm within contemporary life.

Whether existing in a space or on the body, the objects are designed to become familiar - personal, tactile, and enduring.

CUSTOM WORK

Custom work is an opportunity to create something singular; a piece shaped for a particular person, moment, or space. Each work is quietly distinct, considered, and made to last.

Custom pieces are developed through a close dialogue between client and me. The process begins with a conversation; defining intention, form, material, and scale; allowing each piece to take shape gradually and with care.

Custom jewelry can be created through meetings in my studio in Vesterbro, Copenhagen, or through ongoing dialogue from a distance. Ceramic works may be customized in size and color where possible, and I also create sculptural ceramic commissions for specific occasions or spaces.

All custom pieces are made by hand and produced individually. Timelines vary depending on complexity and studio rhythm; an estimated timeframe is shared once the direction is agreed upon. Most commissions are completed within 3–6 weeks.

Pricing is based on material, scale, and time, and is confirmed before production begins. Payment is required prior to making, and once production has started, custom works are considered final.

Finished pieces can be collected from the studio or shipped worldwide.

Contact me to schedule a meeting and begin the process of creating a considered piece, for yourself or someone you care for. Examples of custom commissions include wedding rings, pendants created between friends, and sculptural ceramic works made to mark special moments in life.

Bracelet Cuff Size Guide

Wrap a soft measuring tape around your wrist.
Place it just above the wrist bone, where you would normally wear a bracelet.
No tape? Use a string, then measure it against a ruler.

Do not add extra room, we already account for comfort.

Ring Size Guide

Option 1
Measure an existing ring
Measure the inner diameter (straight across the inside of the ring) in mm.

Measure your finger
Wrap a thin strip of paper tightly around your finger.
Mark where it overlaps and measure the length in mm.

CARE
JEWELLERY
#001

Silver jewelry will naturally develop a patina over time. This is part of the material’s character. To maintain its surface, store pieces separately when not in use and avoid prolonged contact with moisture, perfume, or chemicals.

Gold is a stable and enduring material, suited for everyday wear. To preserve its surface, avoid unnecessary exposure to chemicals and store pieces carefully when not in use. Over time, subtle marks may appear, reflecting how the piece has been worn.

To clean your jewellery; gently wipe jewelry with a soft cloth to remove oils and dirt. For deeper cleaning, use mild soap, warm water, and a soft brush. Gentle polishing can be used when desired.

Pieces set with stones should be handled with particular care. Avoid impact or pressure, and clean gently to protect both the setting and the stone.
