ABOUT
#001
Dominika Kamanova is a Copenhagen-based designer working from her studio in Vesterbro. Her practice spans ceramics and jewelry, focusing on sculptural, usable objects that exist between art and everyday life.
Across both media, each piece is developed through a slow, hands-on process, with form and surface shaped intuitively through making. The work balances function and expression, allowing objects to be used, worn, displayed, or simply encountered over time.
Kamanova’s practice is informed by human emotions and behavior, and by the subtle relationships between people, objects, and their surroundings. A sense of quiet presence and durability runs through the work, offering a slower rhythm within contemporary life.
Whether existing in a space or on the body, the objects are designed to become familiar - personal, tactile, and enduring.
